Hie Guys,
I have a connection string to a SQL Server Database. I am trying to use the connection string to create a new ODBC Connection. After I enter the connection string, I'm prompted to enter the database name, user name and password.
However, I'm getting an error message - "Failed to open the connection" when I'm done creating the connection. I think I'm not getting the correct format for the connection string in Crystal Reports. Could you help me get this issue resolved? I've attached the connection string below. Thanks.
DRIVER = SQL Server; SERVER = prodsql; DATABASE = Entops; UID = abc; PASSWORD = abc123
