Linked Server as data source for CR

I'm trying to use a linked server (SQL server linked to VFP free table directory) as a data source for a crystal report, but I'm not having any luck. I created the linked server and can query the tables without issue. Could somebody point me in a direction on how to set the linked server as the data source for the report? Your help is greatly appreciated!
