Single field using formula we to display only name rest of them hide

Hope all is well.  I has a field  customername in that field there is Data like Ramesh Pasupuleti using formula I want to display only Ramesh in crystal reports,

Ex:-  Cusomername- Field

        1)  Ramesh  Pasupuleti.

         2)Kumar Raju     

O/P:= 1) Ramesh

          2) Raju
