Limit set to 75 for printing Crystal reports

Hello,

Attached is the document given to us by your technical support representative. The question we asked him was, why does the report cause an error after printing 75 reports? And what can we do to fix the problem and increase the limit of 75? He then gave us a document in which we saw that there is a way to remove this limit (attached document).

We tried was the registry fix option. According to the document we can edit the registry and remove the limit of 75 job print. The document indicated to change the following key value to -1:...\Report Application Server\InprocServer\PrintJobLimit

The exact location for our machine was the following:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Report Application Server\InprocServer]

We configured our system with this change, however, this change did not help. We again had the limit of printing only 75 reports.

The other option in the document states to "dispose un-needed objects". We found this was a problem in our code, and implementing this option does seem to resolve our problem and we were able to print more than 75 printout reports. We will be going forward with this option.

Our follow up question is just to clarify why the registry option did not seem to work. The concern is maybe there is some other reason we faced this problem, and may encounter something further even with the disposal of objects implemented.

Thank you in advance for your help....
